Hike in Zion, Discover Dinosaur Fossils, and Eat Some Fabulous Meals

Your next stop is Zion Outfitters, located just outside the entrance to the National Park. You'll want to make sure you're equipped for any of the hiking trails you decide to do. For The Narrows, you'll want a walking stick and appropriate shoes. Zion Outfitter will be able to make sure you're safely equipped for the hike you want to do, regardless of the season.

You're going to spend a good chunk of the day at Zion National Park, one of the most beautiful places on earth. You have a wide variety of options here for day hikes. I highly recommend The Narrows, which is basically a creek stomp up the Virgin River. You could also hike the legendary Angel's Landing (not for those with a fear of heights), or the less crowded Observation Point. No matter what hike you decide to do, make sure you are equipped for it. Bring plenty of water. There are plenty of EV charging stations available in the parking lot of the Park.

You're going to have worked up a huge appetite in the park, and you'll want a great meal! Oscar's has American food with a Southwest twist. You won't be disappointed by the size of the plate!

The Grafton Ghost Town is a ghost town that was established in 1859 on the Virgin River floodplain. The last inhabitants left in 1944. This attraction is just off the main highway to and from Zion National Park, and you can explore 5 structures.

On your drive back, you'll want to make sure you stop at Virgin River Gorge, at one of the several scenic overlooks, for a great chance at photography and to admire the feat of engineering it must have taken to carve I-15 through the canyon.

On your way home, stop for dinner at Katherine's Steakhouse., just off I-15. This restaurant is known for having great lamb, and you'll definitely want to try the coconut dessert!
